AAUW NC is starting its 2013 efforts with a webinar on Jan. 27.
This post will be updated as the process for updating the members is refined. In the meantime, here are the links to subscribe to be kept in the loop:
- pp-info: Public Policy Information, broad in scope and may include full lists from the AAUW CQ State Track system, branch public policy reports, and other information that the subscribers choose to post. [This list started as a list for the “senders”, but the Jan. 27 webinar discussed opening the list to those members who may be interested in more complete information.]
- pp-alerts: Actionable public policy alerts filtered through the AAUW NC Public Policy Team. [This list is open to the public. However, there are restrictions on who may post.]
An initial list of issues that we expect to come up in the 2013 session and be related to AAUW priorities was drafted in December 2012. We expect the leadership team for the project to refine the list based on their sense of what’s going to be happening and the specific interests of people who volunteer to help.
