The AAUW dues year is July 1 to June 30, and we start collecting dues for the next year on March 15.
While the local branches do invoicing for their members, the national organization does provide credit card processing of dues payments for those branches that have signed up for the Membership Payment Program.
You can, of course, go to www.aauw.org and navigate to a form where you can pay your dues. However, if
- you know your member ID (look it up here)
- your branch participates in the MPP
there’s a simpler form on this website, just for the NC branches.
If you’d rather pay with a check, just watch for a notice from your local branch. This payment system at www.aauw.org is completely optional, but AAUW does pay all the credit card processing fees, and the state and local dues are deposited directly into the appropriate accounts, saving your volunteer treasurers a significant amount of work.
Note: If your branch has signed up for the MPP but it isn’t listed on the form, please contact info@aauwnc.org and you’ll be added to the form.
